Sprint HTC Evo 4G on Verizon?

Posted: 22 Nov 2014 12:33 PM PST

I am about 1 yr into a 2 yr contract with Verizon. Have 4 phones on the plan - all of them are Samsung Galaxy S4. I broke the LCD on my Galaxy S4, and it looks like it will be around $150-200 to get it fixed or to buy a used one on Craigslist.

My parents have 2 HTC Evo 4G phones from Sprint that they are not using since they switched to T-Mobile. Can the HTC Evo 4G be set up to use on Verizon? The HTC phones would be free, so I'm just trying to save some money.

Please help. I am looking for a new phone and having a hard time deciding, thanks

Posted: 19 Nov 2014 08:58 AM PST

Hello, newbie to the board here.

So I have a HTC One M7, and am looking to replace it. I am looking at Samsung Note 4, Note Edge and the Sony Experia Z3, and maybe the Nexus 6. I like something with a nice UI, good storage (I tend to save a lot of photos and music), nice screen, nice visuals, and a good camera would be nice. I do a lot of web browsing, music listening, video watching, and photo taking. Any help? Someone point me in the right direction, please. Oh, I'm on tmo.

Thanks.

Unlock: Refund for a not working unlock code

Posted: 19 Nov 2014 05:47 AM PST

Many customers have a problem with a refund, when they are asked for a video proof for their order.

They think that unlock websistes are asking for too much and don't respect their time.

The truth is that all websites have their employes and need to pay them.

The website pays for the codes as well as the customer they don't get it for free, that is why the prices differ on all websites.

We understand that You might be angry that the codes don't work, but please remember that insulting an employe or yelling at him doesn't work.

The only thing that You can achieve is that the customer service will disconnect You and it has a right to do it if You insult him.

Why the video is required, because it s the only way we can check if the codes don't work.

It is not that we don't believe just many people unlock their phones and than ask for a refund, when we ask for a video proof they get mad, and say that we are a scam.

It doesn't make sense, because if we were lying we wouldn't give You any option for a refund, which many website do, they say it didn't work and that is all.

Please treat the companies with respect, and I can guarantee that they will do everything to help You.

Looking for a low cost pay as you go phone service

Posted: 16 Nov 2014 08:13 PM PST

Does anyone know of a carrier that allows you to say buy 60 minutes of cell phone time and only have to buy more when you need it? Seems like most carriers force you to buy more minutes even when you dont need them. Thinking of just dropping cell phones since I don't actually use them that much.
