For those who didn't buy the first Acer Iconia Tab in the UK, you can now buy the Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet for a little less. It's the same tablet with one exception...it has 16G of internal storage compared to the original of 32GB of internal storage.

The price of the new Acer Iconia Tab A500 Android tablet costs £100 less. UK customer can purchase the Acer Iconia Tab A500 now, as it is already available in the UK.

Features of the Acer Iconia Tab A500 come with the following:

Not Only iPhone 5? 4S may be Released Together in September

Bluelans gadgets blog, there always doesn't lack of new generation iPhone news. In the previous post, we knew that iPhone may be called as iPhone 4S, there also report as iPhone 5. The latest news revealed that Apple would release two iPhone with different standards, namely rumored iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S.

According to the news source, Apple will not only release iPhone 5 at the presentation in September, but also launch a different standard iPhone. Analysis regarded this different specification iPhone is the rumored iPhone 4S. it was reported that iPhone 4S come with a same appearance with iPhone 4, but will have some upgrade on the hardware, moreover it will bound with Operators contract, the selling price may be 349 USD. The new person also expressed, Apple will massive producing new generation iPhone in Autumn, however, it won't be officially released until the 2nd week of September, and the detailed date hasn't been revealed.

What need to pointed out is, in the past years, Apple usually released new iPhone at WWDC in June, and launched iPod Touch at the special presentation in September. But this time, Apple acted out of normal behavior, whether this means Apple would adjust new product line and focus on mobile phone market? Or except the new iPhone, new iPod Touch would be published together? Let us just expect the surprising Apple will bring to us in the coming September.

Need help..! Broken sound in my house area

Lately when i use my cellphone, I can't hear the caller's voice, the sound were all broken apart. For example when the person say "Hello world", it will be like " He.....o ........d" The other person can clearly hear my voice but i couldn't hear theirs. I tried to use another cellphone but the same thing happened.

I am currently using T-mobile provider,
This issue only happens when i use it around my house area.... I am so confused, would it be because the wifi router or something with strong signal interrupted my calls?


Any help will be appreciated.

Smartphone for travel?

Hey everyone, I'm about to go backpacking around Europe & Asia for at least 6 months. I'm trying to decide on which smartphone to buy. I've narrowed it down to two picks:

T-Mobile Sidekick LX (2009) or the Sony Xperia X1

I've heard the xperia is a great phone and I like the windows mobile OS. However, I do have a soft spot for sidekicks and the LX seems to have a lot of positive reviews.

Anyone have travel experience with either of these phones? Let me know which one I should buy!

My first phone was a Verizon Wireless Samsung Alias.
My second phone was an Apple iPhone 4 16GB in black (had to get it replaced twice)
My third and current phone is an Apple iPhone 4 32GB White. (After I sold the black one)
Both of the iPhones were/are used on AT&T.

Wanna Ditch Iphone

My contract is up with ATT and I would like to try to find a phone that is on par with the Iphone. I heard the Samsung Galaxy 2 is a very good phone. My opnly problem is that the phone I buy now will probably be blown away by the IPone 5.

Any suggestions on what is better than the iphone or almost more impossibly to make a call on what will be better than the IP5? Thanks very much

Bluelans Official Blog, according to DigiTiMES report, some Taiwan suppliers decreased PCB accessories for iPhone and iPad. Some expert pointed out those suppliers are preparing for the iPhone 5 accessories, therefore decrease the iPhone 4 shipments.

The news also revealed, the iPhone 4 PCB orders decreased appeared from the 2nd quarter in 2011. So far, June orders haven't has any bounced phenomenon. The insiders predicted Apple will finally decrease a half of all iPhone 4 accessories from Taiwan before releasing iPhone 5.

Verizon Wireless 4G Fastest Among Carriers

Sorry, this seems to be a little late. This information is roughly a month or two old, but still very relevant and accurate.



According to an extensive study done by RootMetrics, Verizon Wireless' 4G data speeds far exceed that of any of its competitors. The major competitors with 4G are Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

This study found that Verizon Wireless had the fastest, most consistent speed out of any other 4G network.

This study was performed using the HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon's LTE network, the HTC Inspire on AT&T's HSPA+ network, the HTC Evo on Sprint's WiMax network, and the Samsung Galaxy S on T-Mobile's HSPA+21 network. Since all of these relate to a "fourth-generation network" we will refer to all of them as just "4G".

Like previously mentioned, RootMetrics found that Verizon Wireless delivered the fastest speeds by average between 4 and 14.5 times faster than competitors on download and between 4 and 49.7 times faster on upload speeds. Verizon was also capable of maintaining the high speeds for the duration of the study, unlike the competition. They discovered that the Verizon Wireless LTE network could maintain 10+ megabits per second 90% of the time for download and between 5 and 10 megabits per second 100% of the time for upload.

Sprint & T-Mobile nearly tied for second place. T-Mobile offered download speeds of around 4.42MBPS over Sprint's 4.4MBPS. AT&T's speed lost at about 1.18MBPS download and upload speeds at just 123kbps.

This is what each carrier "promises" to offer:
  • Verizon: 5-12MBPS download; 2-5MBPS upload.
  • AT&T: Up to 6MBPS upload/download
  • Sprint: 3-6MBPS upload/download
  • T-Mobile has no official promise, but current testing shows about 6MBPS.
All of the devices in this test were using Android 2.2 powered smartphones and tested at specific locations in order to ensure accurate results.

which make and model cell phone has the crispest, clearest sound for incoming sounds? Or are they all basically the same. Ive heard that Clarity might have exceptionally good sound but the phone doesn't do much else. Any make the best?

News: A New Prototype Dual-Screen Android Device revealed by Imerg & Frog

The dual screen Kyocera Echo may not be the only dual screen device anymore. There has been a photo of a new Android device by Imerj and Frog, that looks like it may just give the Kyocera Echo a run for its money.

The new Android dual screen device is said to sport two 4" AMOLED screens attached by a simple hinge and will come with an unknown speed dual-core processor, a 5MP camera that acts as a front and rear camera and 32GB onboard storage upgradeable to 128GB.
