I'd really appreciate it if anyone can tell me whether there's a good iPhone repair store in the mississauga region that could fix this for cheap? Thanks in advance!" |
| Cell Phone Newbie with questions Posted: 18 Sep 2011 01:04 PM PDT My wife and I are seniors that uses TracFone service infrequently. The phone is used only for emergencies and for convenience. Although it's arranged for web browsing I don't use that feature. When I/we are at home I turn it off because our AT&T landline is our principal service. This landline service runs about $45 per month. I'm thinking of porting my phone number of 40+ years to a cell phone service. I'm thinking strongly of using Boost Mobile Unlimited because eventually I can get the rate down to $35/month. I think an unlimited plan is best at this point because I have absolutely no idea of how many minutes we use for outgoing or incoming calls. I believe that any such phone would be used 90% for voice, 5% for web browsing, and 5% for texting. Because our eyesight isn't as good as it once was, we'd probably like a phone with programmable icons on the screen so that all we would have to do is tap a name on the screen to be connected to that person. We would probably like to do the same for web browsing. What cell phones from Boost (that don't cost an arm and a leg) would fill these requirements? Would the Sanyo Incognito SCP-7670 be a good choice? |
