| Posted: 27 Apr 2013 05:07 AM PDT Hi. I am olde fashioned and want a 'no bells and whistles" phone which has excellent reception (important). I am a Verizon wireless user, and have had , over the past couple of years, a Samsung knock, and a Samsung gusto These two phones were mediocre at best. The gusto has gone totally whacky on me and will not receive calls at all, and goes into these strange modes of silence and will not receive most calls. Is there a plain phone of any sort which I can use with Verizon ..I am not sure what unlocking means, but does it mean I purchase a phone which Verizon does not normally carry, and unlock it to be used by Verizon? I need a new phone immediately..and a simple one. I do not even send text messages so my needs are simple. I just need good reception. Thanks Al  |
