Hi, I recently bought a used iPhone for really cheap but it has a slight flaw. The screen appears to be slightly scratched or something and the touch response seems to be off around that area. I live in the mississauga region, can anyone tell me about a good iPhone repair store nearby? Thanks in advance!

Cell Phone Newbie with questions

My wife and I are seniors that uses TracFone service infrequently. The phone is used only for emergencies and for convenience. Although it's arranged for web browsing I don't use that feature. When I/we are at home I turn it off because our AT&T landline is our principal service. This landline service runs about $45 per month. I'm thinking of porting my phone number of 40+ years to a cell phone service.
I'm thinking strongly of using Boost Mobile Unlimited because eventually I can get the rate down to $35/month. I think an unlimited plan is best at this point because I have absolutely no idea of how many minutes we use for outgoing or incoming calls.
I believe that any such phone would be used 90% for voice, 5% for web browsing, and 5% for texting.
Because our eyesight isn't as good as it once was, we'd probably like a phone with programmable icons on the screen so that all we would have to do is tap a name on the screen to be connected to that person. We would probably like to do the same for web browsing.
What cell phones from Boost (that don't cost an arm and a leg) would fill these requirements?
Would the Sanyo Incognito SCP-7670 be a good choice?

phone plans

I'm looking to buy a cheap phone right now
I'm only using it for basic needs, such as talking.
I dont want a contract
Never had a phone before but this one i will only be using to talk like a couple times a month. Not really a phone guy but need it for circumstances
I dont know much about phones but i am liking this type of deal where you "pay for whatever minutes you use up" rather than pay monthly or daily or yearly.

Get Started - from AT&T = 10¢/Minute Plan

But currently the phone is out of stock so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a cheap phone where you ONLY pay for the minutes you use

Does unlocked HTC Desire HD phone from Clove.co.uk work in USA major cell networks?

Posted: 17 Sep 2011 02:23 PM PDT

Hello. In November 2010 I bought HTC Desire HD in "www.clove.co.uk" online shop.
I'm using it in Ukraine for 9 months and really happy with this purchase. Now I'm moving to USA, California. Let me know please (if you know the answer) if I can use this phone in USA.

As I understand, my phone is unlocked, but I'm really not sure if it can be used it in USA (I know that in USA it is usual practice to purchase phones with contracts that are locked for particular network).

Thank you!
