Newb question about Quad banded sim carded phone availability Posted: 26 Jul 2011 12:07 PM PDT Last year I spent time in Thailand, and of course my Sprint phone was useless. The I-phone (I don't like Apple products) is Quad-banded, and has sim cards, but I understand that you are somehow locked to a certain carrier. Are there Quad-banded, sim-carded phones available that can be used with a carrier of choice (I use Sprint Sero now) and which are usable in Asia by buying a local Sim card? Or is the system still obscenely monopolistic. Is there any movement going on towards being able to change service providers simply by changing Sim cards? I haven't even looked at phones for the past few years and am wondering, and not happy that I have to buy a new phone every time I go to Thailand. Thanks

Unlocked phones working with virgin mobile? Posted: 26 Jul 2011 12:34 AM PDT Can an unlocked Sidekick LX 2009 or an unlocked Blackberry Torch 9800 work on the Virgin Mobile network? Please specify if one or both can or cannot. Please, I really need help on this issue. Also, if either of these phones cannot can you name some unlocked phones that could (if at all possible)? I would really appreciate any help and more details the better! THANKS!!!
Should we always use mobile phones? Posted: 25 Jul 2011 11:57 PM PDT A mobile phone is not good for one's health. It takes too much of our time. It often interrupts us when we are not available to answer it. It makes too much noise. It is expensive for a student who has no income. It makes one speak too much and become a tedious speaker. To have a fixed phone in the room is enough. We don't need a mobile phone. It is useless and harmful. clipping path masking Photomontage Retouching Image Editing Logo and Image Vectorization
