Cheapest Cell service in NC, NO DATA required?

Guys, I just got a netbook so I really don't need to get online with the phone and I seldom use the data option anyway 'cause the screen is too small for me to see comfortably. Also, I got the Nexus One with Froyo so I could use it as a Hotspot but with the connection I get, it's worthless so since I dont' use it, I thought I'd drop it and save money.

So, my question is, who has the CHEAPEST phone service if you don't need Data? I don't have to have text either (but wouldn't mind a few free ones a month) and I talk very little. As a matter of fact, I usually stay under 500 minutes a month.

Note, GSM please and again, I'm in the Monroe, NC area so something that'll work for me. I had T-Mobile and coverage was fine and now I have walmart family mobile and it works fine too. ATT was good but Verizon sucked!

News: Amazon taking pre-orders for AT&T's Acer A501 Tab 4G

The US has been waiting quite a while for the Acer A501 Iconia Tab 4G, which was first announced back in March, as a 10.1 inch Android Honeycomb tablet. The Iconia Tab 4G was suppose to be carried by AT&T, but we haven't heard much since then.

Now we have word that Amazon will be taking pre-orders for the tablet at a price of $499.99 which also includes free shipping. The downside is, that there has been no mention of a shipping date.

Features of the AT&T Acer A501 Tab 4G include: 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage space further expandable via microSD cards, a 10.1-inch 1280×800 touchscreen, HSPA+ support, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, HDMI out, two cameras, and a 3260 mAh battery
