To add a city to the clock list, tap 'Clock Tools' from the applications menu. Tap 'Add new city' and enter the name of a city. Type the first letter and you can find the city more easily. Select and tap the city. To use the timer, tap 'Clock Tools' from the applications menu. Tap 'Timer'. Tap the time indicated on the screen, or press the Options icon and then 'Set' for setting the time. Set the hour, minute and second and tap 'Done'. Tap 'Start'. To add an alarm, tap 'Alarm/Clock' from the applications menu. Tap 'Add alarm'. Enter the hour and the minute and tap 'Set'. Adjust settings for alarm and tap 'Done'. You will see a green bar under the set alarm. Calculator Tap 'Calculator' from the applications menu. Enter a number and tap a mathematical sign you want to use. Tap 'C' to delete a number and hold 'C' to delete the whole number. Converter Tap 'Converter' from the applications menu. Select a unit type. Length is selected by default. Change the unit type by tapping '<' or '>'. Tap on the box below the unit type, enter value, and tap 'Done'. Select the original unit by dragging the wheel in the middle of the screen. Select a target unit. The changed value promptly appears below. Voice Dialer Tap 'Voice Dialer' from the applications menu. Say a contact's name, e.g. "Mike", on the mic. Tap on the message or 'OK'. Enter your email address and password for the first use. Tap either 'Manual setup' or 'Next'. If you tap 'Manual setup', tap POP3, IMAP or Exchange, set the necessary options and tap 'Next'. Enter a name for the account. Enter your name that will be displayed on the outgoing messages. Tap 'Done'. Adding A New E-mail Account Tap 'Email' from the applications menu. Press the Options icon and tap 'More > Accounts'. Press the Options icon' and tap 'Add account'. Follow the steps to set up an email account. Removing An E-mail Account Tap 'Email' from the applications menu. Press the Options icon and tap 'More > Accounts' in the Inbox screen. Press and hold the account that you want to remove. Tap 'Remove account > OK'. Sending An E-mail Tap 'Email' from the applications menu. Tap 'Compose mail'. Note: If you have added more than two email accounts, the first one is designated as the primary account for sending an email. Enter the recipient's email address, or tap the Contact icon and select and tap the contact. Enter the subject and content of the message. Tap 'Send'. Adding A Gmail Account Tap 'Gmail' from the applications menu. Tap 'Next'. Tap 'Sign in' if you have a Gmail account. Enter your user name and password. Tap 'Sign in'. Sending An E-mail Through Gmail Tap 'Gmail' from the applications menu. Press the Options icon and tap 'Compose'. Enter the recipient's email address, the subject and the message. Press the Options icon and tap 'Send'. Gmail Options Tap 'Gmail' from the applications menu. Press the Options icon and tap 'More > Settings > General preferences'. Adjust the following setting options:
Adding Attachments Press the Options icon in the composed message and tap 'Attach'. Tap an item you want to attach among Pictures, Videos, Audio, vCard, vCalendar, Documents, and Location. Tap 'Send' when you are finished. |

Tap 'Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings'. Tap 'Wi-Fi' to activate the function. Select and tap a network. You should enter the password if the network is secured. The Wi-Fi icon in the upper right corner indicates a secured Wi-Fi network. Tap 'Connect'. Once the network is remembered, the phone will automatically connect to it when in range. Connect To A Mobile Network You can use 3G (or EDGE if available) or 4G(LTE) to connect the phone to the Internet and exchange multimedia messages. You will need a data plan to access a 2G, 3G or 4G network. The settings are already preconfigured on the phone, and it is ready to use 3G or 4G services. Please do not change the settings: this may cause services to stop working. If your settings for some reason are not working, contact your carrier to confirm the settings and to see what you can do from your end to fix the issue. Connect To Bluetooth/Devices Tap 'Settings' from the applications menu. Tap 'Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings'. Tap 'Bluetooth' to activate the function. Tap 'Scan for devices'. Select and tap a device from the list. Tap 'Pair' to connect to and pair with the device. You can also access your Bluetooth connection by tapping and dragging down the top part of the homescreen and tap the Bluetooth icon in the 'Easy Setting' menu. The icon will turn red whenever Bluetooth is active. Connect Others To The Internet To tether a device to the Pantech Burst, connect the phone with an electronic device using the USB cable. Tap 'Settings' from the applications menu. Tap 'Wireless & networks > Tethering & portable hotspot'. Tap 'USB tethering' to activate the function. The electronic device that is connected to the phone can now access the Internet. In order to setup a Wi-Fi hotspot, tap 'Settings' from the applications menu. Tap 'Wireless & networks > Tethering & portable hotspot'. Tap 'Portable Wi-Fi hotspot'. The phone can offer the Internet connection to other devices around you. Connect To A PC Tap 'Settings' from the applications menu. Tap 'Storage > USB Mode'. Select and tap a USB mode:
Tap 'Ask on connection > OK' if you want to select the USB mode whenever the phone is connected. Connect the USB cable to the phone. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer. |
