Buying new Phone

Posted: 05 Sep 2012 10:18 AM PDT

Hello, I currently have the lg thrill 3d 4g phone for ATT I've gotten use to and like the phone but I cannot put up with the 500 kbps hspa+ data.
I was thinking about buying the HTC vivid which I guess is one of the first LTE phone that came out for ATT and I think is the cheapest and I love the 15-30 mbps.
I just want a cheap phone for less than $200 that have lte and I can sell my lg thrill to make some money to pay for it

I was thinking of waiting for the Iphone 5 to be released then to purchase my new phone hoping that the release would reduce the price of the other phones. Base on previous release of the iphone 4 and 4s have the price of the other phones especially android reduce in price.

Basically im just asking is it better to wait another month or 2 for the release of iphone 5 to reduce the price of the HTC vivid or just buy it now

Thank you

And please SEND this link to everyone you know that has a cell phone! This CAN benefit all of us in Canada!

I am also placing a lawsuit (tomorrow, September 5, 2012) against Rogers for charging me a $400 contract cancellation fee while I had no contract with them at the time when I cut my cable services with Rogers.
Following that, I will likely do a public inquiry on finding out who else has been defrauded by Rogers. If there will be a potential amount of people of at least 100, we will effectively launch a Class Action Lawsuit against Rogers fraudulently charging for services not rendered.

Looking for a very simple phone. Maybe you can help?

In this day of smartphones and GPS and mobile internet and data charges... I just want to go back 15 years. Can you help me find what I'm looking for?

I'm looking for a very simple phone that will work with an AT&T SIM card.

I don't want GPS or any kind of mobile data.
I do want a reliable phone that drops calls as little as possible and has clear sound.
I do want to be able to text message. With T9 I can do it one-handed, so that's what I would like to use.
I prefer a flip phone, but slide out is ok too if it's a good design.
I would like as slim but sturdy of a phone as possible.
I would like to find a phone of this style with the best battery life I can.
Finally, bluetooth would be nice, and even less important would be the ability to use as an MP3 player.

Does something like this still exist and could you recommend any specific models or places to get one?

Thank you so much for your time and assistance. I appreciate any advice you can give me.
