Questions about cell phone batteries

Posted: 12 Jul 2014 05:18 AM PDT

I want to know if my understanding about Li-ion batteries used in cell phones is correct. Please dispute or validated the following:

Li-ion batteries should be fully charged before first using them in a cell phone.

Li-ion batteries do not store a memory, so there's no need to fully charge/discharge them every time

Li-ion batteries cannot be overcharged while charging in a cell phone because the cell phone automatically shuts down the charging when the voltage reaches the limits of the battery.

Mobile phone battery time is long method

On personal experience: the new phone must let the battery charge for 24 hours, mobile phone regularly adjusted to the power saving modeplay games phone screen lights dim spot, sure to let the phone charge and when charging fullness after unplugging the power, tone phone when not in use as the screen saver.
