Iphone 5 or Windows phone 8

Posted: 17 Oct 2013 03:40 AM PDT

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and come seeking help in choosing my next mobile phone. I have been using android pretty much since it started existing and I really like it, currently my phone is a Galaxy Note II but I'm going to have to choose a new phone since the company I work for have a new mobile phone policy and I'm forced to choose between the iphone 5 or the Nokia Lumia 920. I have never even used one of these phones and really have no clue as to how they are to use.

Which one do you feel is the best phone if stuff as camera, games and such is NOT important, I place value in productivity and apps that make my life easier. I do also use a lot of googles programs such as gmail, google drive and google maps. I would appreciate objective answers since I am asking here because if I ask a friend who is using one of the phones the review might not be very objective or he has not used the other model and cannot make a realistic comparison.

Regards, Jonathan

Consumer Cellular data setup

Posted: 17 Oct 2013 12:10 AM PDT

I am trying to set up Consumer Cellular with Samsung Galaxy S 4G. We are new to this service. Using unlocked phones we already owned. Just received the Sim Cards in the mail. I have searched for the right settings and tried different ones. I assume that in all the settings I have tried that one of the would have been right. Some of the discussions that I have read implied that the company has to turn on the data for the specific phone. Anyone had to deal with this?
